This year the percussion group will have two ensembles, one in Scholastic Open Class, and one in Concert Open Class. Here are a few photos from the setup, design process, and any other work I have done!

This year is my first year on staff as the Audio Engineer, we had a few upgrades this year and I had so much fun setting up the ensemble and updating things as I went.

I was in the ensemble again on synth this season, but I also served as the “Electronics Captain” I would fix/setup things as needed and make sure that our electronics/sound equipment was in good working condition throughout the season as the group travels a lot. We also had a flute soloist that we ran through mainstage using the x32 as the interface! The group had an undefeated season both in our local circuit and at the national level, placing 1st for Scholastic “A” class at WGI World Championships!

As I was in the ensemble this year, I served as the “Electronics Captain” simply just ensuring that equipment was being taken care of properly, maintaining mics and wireless equipment, as well as setting up the band with 3 new shotgun mics!
